NEW EMT CLASS ANNOUNCED! The Lake Monticello Volunteer Rescue Squad is offering the Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) class beginning August 8, 2011. The class will begin with a required CPR class on August 8th (mandatory unless potential students possess a valid CPR card from one of the 8 recognized CPR courses). Enrollment in the EMT class will be limited, so a guaranteed seat in the class will be on a first come, first served basis. The final class will be on December 8, 2011. Classes will meet on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:30PM to 10:00PM. The tuition for the combined CPR and the EMT class will be $195. For those with a valid acceptable CPR card the tuition will be $170. Those students in the class who join as members of the Lake Monticello Volunteer Rescue Squad will have all tuition paid reimbursed after meeting membership requirements.
